The Choir of All Saints’ Wickham Terrace

Laura James - Alto

Our choir, under the direction of Tom Holownia, is one of the finest liturgical choirs in Queensland. The choir consists of professional contracted singers, known as choristers, who work alongside junior and senior choral scholars who are in our training programme.

We value musical excellence, and seek to train and pay our singers accordingly. We actively foster the continuation and development of the choral traditions which have underpinned Anglican liturgy for 600 years. All our scholars receive singing and musicianship lessons from our Director of Music who is an accomplished choral director.

Our Junior Scholars are often in the final years of their schooling or have entered into a university. Our senior scholars are often in the later years of their university studies or have begun their working careers. Our choristers are all accomplished singers who have had extensive training. Most of them earn a living in the secular world alongside their on-going commitment to music.

We are always interested in talented musicians. If you can read music, can sing in tune and would like to be considered for a place in our choir, please contact the office through admin@allsaintsbrisbane.com
