Face masks

Under the current Queensland Government requirements the wearing of masks indoors is mandatory. They may be removed to receive Holy Communion or sitting to eat and drink at Morning Tea after Mass.


Occupant density restrictions for church services/activities

EFFECTIVE 17 DECEMBER 2021

Indoor worship services

  • If all persons are vaccinated — 1 person per 2 square metres or 100 per cent of seated venue capacity with ticketed and allocated seating up to a maximum of 200 people (whichever is greater).

  • If any persons are unvaccinated — 1 person per 2 square metres or 100 per cent of seated venue capacity with ticketed and allocated seating up to a maximum of 200 people (whichever is greater).

Funerals

  • If all persons are vaccinated — 1 person per 2 square metres or 100 per cent of seated venue capacity with ticketed and allocated seating up to a maximum of 200 people (whichever is greater).

  • If any persons are unvaccinated — 1 person per 2 square metres or 100 per cent of seated venue capacity with ticketed and allocated seating up to a maximum of 200 people (whichever is greater).

Weddings

  • If all persons are vaccinated — no occupant density limits apply.

  • If any persons are unvaccinated, including the wedding party and officials, a maximum of 20 (twenty) people can attend.
